These architectural abstractions extract the images of the buildings out of their real world surroundings and place them upon abstract art context. This makes us pay attention to the details, colors and geometry of the partly worn out and even centuries old architecture on a completely different way. The images turn into a metamorphosis of architecture, photography, contemporary design and abstract art. This ongoing series is called “Floating City” according to one of the nicknames of Venice where these images were photographed.
