Glass Eye is an ongoing still-life texture study, capturing mainly discarded objects and leftover materials with medium format color film. This project uses fabric and paper to obscure or redefine familiar forms and observe abstract compositional qualities of fabric scraps and plastic waste. Surreal and occasionally sensual, these images are an exploration of the ways that texture can evoke emotion and alter form and context.
