The series was inspired by public appearances and lectures of science educators like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Michio Kaku, Lawrence Krauss or Brian Green. It seems that their attencion is not only with educating the public but also with planting mindbending thoughts that make you reasses your place in the world and in the Universe. The series consists of 10 manualy and digitaly modified analog photographs, everyone of them inspired by quotes from dr Niel DeGrasse Tyson.
Krzysztof Ślachciak, born in 1983, Poznań, Poland. Artist Photographer, member of The Association of Polish Art Photographers. He graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with masters degree in Korean Studies and on Poznań University of Economics he did postgraduate studies in field of Business to Business Marketing with thesis on advertising photography. Since 2008 he runs his own commercial photography studio. Since 2011 until 2016, at the invitation of profesor Włodzimierz Włoszkiewicz, he conducted practical lessons of photography and lectures of composition for the Architecture Department’s students at the Poznań University of Technology. Since 2013 he has run photography section of the Artistic Science Club. At present he works for promoting artistic photography as a member of the board of The Association of Polish Art Photographers, Greaterpoland region. He also conducts his workshops and open-air events. Until now he has shown his works during more than 30 collective and solo exhibitions as well as other artistic events.
