Old towns, shopping malls, industrial areas and wastelands, highways, big parking lots, suburbs divided in residential areas and compounds, green areas, tourist attractions, more or less visible slums – the major European cities and their suburbs get more and more alike. These images gives away clues to where they were taken, yet the narrative thread is based on similarity. This is an imaginary landscape of melancholy moments that look like they could have been shot anywhere. Like in a movie where each scene was shot in a different place, they create a single story, made logical by the magic of editing. The photos in this series was shot in and around Istanbul, Prague, Stockholm and Paris in 2015 and 2016.
