Anastasia Photo is pleased to present Paolo Pellizzari’s first exhibition with the gallery. Paolo Pellizzari was born in Italy in 1956, and studied architecture and business before devoting himself full – time to photography. Pellizzari’s photographs have been shown in museums and galleries around the world, and published in newspapers and magazines including Libération, L’equipe, La Rep ubblica, and Newsweek. His published photography books include: ‘One Billion Indians’ ‘La France du Tour’ and ‘Tours of the World’. In 2004, Tours of the World in which he photographed the world’s most extraordinary cycling races received the Sportel Prize for best sports book of the year.
Paolo Pellizzari‘s panoramic format focuses on the human landscape. His photographs overflow with detail and color to capture anecdotes of daily life, transporting the viewer deep within these landscapes. This exhibition of Paolo’s work is taken from his series, ‘The Broad Way’.
